This colorful exhibition was initiated by artist and project director, Mary Edna Fraser. It boasts fifty-one works of art in a variety of mediums – batik, monotypes, oil paintings, photography and sweetgrass baskets.
Featured artists include: Tom Blagden, Mary Edna Fraser, Mary Jackson, Jonathan Green, Jack Leigh, and Mickey Williams. Labels, text, and numerous public programs will convey the culture of this region and its environmental message to the visitor. Sponsored in part by the Donnelley Foundation. Poetry by Marjory Wentworth also focuses on the ACE Basin, one of the largest undeveloped estuaries on the east coast of the United States.
