Hobcaw Barony

Hobcaw Barony is a coastal preserve spanning 16,000 acres outside of Georgetown, SC. Owned by the Belle W. Baruch Foundation, this diverse ecosystem includes a former plantation turned cultural museum, Discovery Center, and both USC and Clemson classrooms. Fraser has been commissioned to complete on-site batiks and oils of the stunning landscape and returns periodically to teach workshops and give lectures. She often climbs the firetower with her 35-lb. pack to paint plein air from a bird’s eye view.
